Solar Hybrid Charger
Efficiency of solar charging system depends on the weather conditions. usually the solar panel gets four to five hours of bright sunlight in a day. if the weather is cloudy and rainy, it affects the charging process and the battery does not attain full charge. this simple hybrid solar charge can solve the problem as it can charge the battery using both solar power as well as AC main supply.
When output from the solar panel is about 12 volts, the battery charges using the solar power. when the output drops below 12 volts, the battery charges through AC mains supply.
Electronics Timer switch
This electronic timer switch project is good project to build to stimulate the presence of occupants in the house. in these days when security is becoming more of a concern when no one is at home, having this device will deter the thief from breaking in.
when power up, after 60 minutes, the relay will turn ONÂ for 100 sec, OFFÂ for the next 100 sec, and ONÂ again for 100 sec before OFFÂ for the next 60 minutes. This sequence will be repeated. a device such as a lamp that is connected to the relay will turn ONÂ and OFFÂ according to this timing.
Network Storage for Raspberry Pi
An always on-network backup device accessible to a computer from both outside and inside network is highly desirable thing. As the system will always be on, power consumption is an important consideration. these requirements are fairly met by this Raspberry Pi: base network storage system as it consumes less power than its off-the-shelf counter parts.

For a simple network one drive is sufficient but it is recommended to use two for local redundancy. external hard drives should be low-power and have sufficient capacity for future addition of data.in this case, two NTFS-formatted hard drives are used and samba software helps to implement network sharing.
